Aitana Bonmatí wins The Best FIFA Women’s Player Award for the first time, following her successful season with Barcelona and Spanish national team.
The 25-year-old led Blaugrana to the second Women’s Champions League title in the last season, as well as another Liga F triumph. With the Spanish national team, Bonmati was one of the key players that helped La Roja secure their first ever World Cup title. In voting, she came first, ahead of Linda Caicedo and Jennifer Hermoso, scoring 52 points to her rivals’ respective returns of 40 and 36.

Manchester United and England Mary Earps won The Best Goalkeeper award, while Lionesses’ coach, Sarina Wiegman, won the Best Coach award for the third time in her career.
