Barcelona confirmed quarterfinals spot with 5-0 win

Barcelona confirmed quarterfinals spot with 5-0 win against Fortuna Hjørring. Spanish champions gave no chance to the Danish team and with advanced with an aggregate score 9-0.

The game started very evenly, with the Danish team focused on defence and not allowing Barcelona any clear chances. But Blaugrana finally managed to break through Fortuna’s wall in 36th minute after a cross from Ana Crnogorcevic that Aitana Bonmati converted in the first goal.

In the second half, the Barça improved the effectiveness that was lacking in the first half and made a more noticeable difference. Aitana Bonmati scored her second goal in 48th minute and shortly after, Mariona Caldentey made it 3-0 from the penalty spot, after a foul on her inside the area. But Catalans didn’t stop there. Out of countless chances Azizat Oshoala and Marta Torrejon managed to get on the score board.
