Meet the Women’s World 11

Meet the Women’s World 11 that was named today at FIFA The Best award ceremony.

While Aitana Bonmatí won The Best FIFA Women’s Player Award, English and Spanish players dominated the FIFPRO Women’s World 11 as Wendie Renard missed out for the first time ever. Only two players don’t come from World Cup finalists country: USA’s Alex Morgan and Sam Kerr of Australia.

Lionesses are the most represented with seven players named into the lineup: Mary Earps, who ended Christiane Endler’s three-year stretch in goal, Alex Greenwood, Ella Toone, Alessia Russo and Lauren James.

World Cup winner Spain are represented by two players.
