UWCL: Chelsea draw with Real Madrid, PSG defeated

Today, the remaining matches in Group C and D were played in Women’s Champions League, Matchday 1. In the Group C, the battle between German and Italian champions ended with a draw. FC Bayern started strong and got a 2-0 lead in the first half but AS Roma fought back and secured a point with a 90th minute goal by Manuela Giugliano. In the other game, AFC Ajax won against Paris Saint-German by 2-0.

In the top match of the Group D, Real Madrid hosted Chelsea. Las Blancas got an early lead but the Blues managed to overturn the deficit with goals from Niamh Charles and Sam Kerr. Olga Carmona scored her 2nd goal of the night to tie the game. BK Hacken top the Group D after away win in Paris against Paris FC by 1-2.
