UWCL: Lyon take the last quarter-finals spot

Already before the last Matchday of the group stage of the Women’s Champions League most of the quarterfinalists were known. The only remaining spot was decided between Lyon and Juventus. Bianconere needed a win but the title holders managed to hold onto the goalless draw, meaning that Italian champions finished their European season. Arsenal advance as the winner of the Group C.

In the Group D, everything was decided prior to the last matchday. Barcelona as a group winner and FC Bayern advance to the knockout stages, following their victories against Rosengard and Benfica, respectively.
