Welcome to Footbalada, women’s football news portal!

The whole Footbalada team would like to welcome you on our new website!

A few months ago, while casually browsing the internet, we tried to find some highlights and latest transfer news about women’s football. Surprisingly, we had a lot of troubles to get this information, since even the biggest and most popular leagues often publish news only in their local language. Consequently, we had to use a bunch of online translation tools to be able to read news.

If we just take a brief look to men’s football leagues, we can get live news from most of the European leagues in our local language at almost any point of the day. But with increasing popularity of women’s football across the world, we think that also all women’s football fans deserve a portal, where they can follow their favourite team.

That was the main reason that we stared this project. We will try to bring you the latest news from the best women’s football leagues in Europe in English. At the moment, we included in our coverage women’s top 5 biggest leagues in Europe, including Women’s Super League in England, Frauen Bundesliga in Germany, D1 Arkema in France, Serie A women in Italy and Liga Iberdrola in Spain.

We realize that they are more quality leagues across Europe but since we are a small team we decided to focus first on the 5 mentioned above, with a possibility to expand later. We will be more than happy to receive any feedback, suggestion or help offer on our email: hello@footbalada.com

You can also follow us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

Thank you for your support and we hope we will see each other often on Footbalada.com!
