Women’s Champions League: Arsenal through despite heavy defeat

The last matchday in Group C of the Women’s Champions League brought some more excitement than group D. While Barcelona had already secured the spot in the quarter-final, Hoffenheim and Arsenal faced each other for the remaining last 8 ticket. The Germans beat the Gunners by 4-1, but that was not enough to go through, since they should beat Arsenal by five or more goals.
