Arkema extends Division 1 sponsorship

Arkema extends Division 1 sponsorship and will remain as an official naming sponsor of the top French women’s league until 2025.

The French group, a major player in speciality materials, has been supporting Division 1 league since the World Cup in France in 2019. Arkema will pay €1.2 million each season, divided among 12 clubs, which is slightly more than their previous deal. To add to that, each club will also receive €50,000 from French Football Association to support development of the young players.

“Arkema is delighted to be extending its commitment for a further three years with D1 Arkema. Firstly, because this is a great story that must endure; secondly, because it is fully consistent with our sponsorship and patronage strategy now firmly tied to the themes of inclusion and diversity,” said Thierry Le Hénaff, Arkema CEO.
