Berglind Thorvalsdottir joins Paris Saint-Germain

Berglind Thorvalsdottir joins Paris Saint-Germain from a Norwegian side, SK Brann. She signed a two-year contract until June 2024.

The 30-year-old played for Breiðablik in Iceland on various spells throughout her career. The Icelandic international forward also brings experience from Serie A, where she played for Hellas Verona and AC Milan. Thorvalsdottir also experienced playing in France already, when she wore jersey of Le Havre in 2020 and 2021. The Parisians also signed Marina Georgieva, Lydia Williams and Oriane Jean-François recently.

“Becoming a player of this huge club Paris Saint-Germain is an incredible feeling. It has always been a dream of mine, so I am really happy to be here,” said Thorvalsdottir.
