Bordeaux announce arrivals of Tainara and Jelena Karličić. Both players signed contracts until June 2024.
The 22-year-old with full name Tainara De Souza Da Silva arrives to France from a Brazilian club, Palmeiras, where she spent the last year. In the last season of Brazilian championship, the young central defender made 10 appearances and scored 2 goals and finished as a vice-champion. Tainara has already debuted for the Brazilian national team, having collected 7 caps so far.
Another Bordeaux addition is 19-year-old Jelena Karličić. The Montenegrin striker is joining from her home club, ZFK Breznica. Despite her youth, Karličić already won three national championships, tasted the Women’s Champions League and played for the senior national team.

Laura Stiben and Amanda Gutierres have already joined Girondins Bordeaux in the current transfer window.
