Gaëtane Thiney extends Paris FC stay

Gaëtane Thiney extends Paris FC stay and will stay with the club until the end of the season.

The 36-year-old is Paris FC legend. After starting her career with Olympique Saint-Memmie and US Compiègne Oise, the French midfielder/striker joined the club in 2008. Since then, she made over 280 appearances and scored over 140 goals. Thiney was also an important part of the French national team in the past, having played over 160 international matches. The Parisians also renewed recently with Julie Soyer and Camille Pecharman.

“Passion, work, self-sacrifice, surpassing oneself, sharing… These few words have been the rhythm of my daily life for 22 seasons at the highest level. It is with great happiness that I extend my contract for another year with my favourite club, Paris FC,” wrote Thiney on Instagram.
