Gérard Prêcheur takes over Paris Saint-Germain

Gérard Prêcheur takes over Paris Saint-Germain after Didier Ollé-Nicolle’s sacking back in May. He signed a one-year contract with an option for an additional year.

The 62-year-old is familiar with the French women’s football, having coached France U-20 international team and Olympique Lyon. With the latter, he won three French championships and French cups, as well as two Women’s Champions League titles. Most recently, he worked in China with Jiangsu Suning in the 2018/19 season.

“Being able to join a club as prestigious as Paris Saint-Germain is an exceptional opportunity. I am very honored to have been chosen to start this new cycle and I thank the club for its confidence, starting with the president,” said Prêcheur.
