Inès Jaurena transfers to Lyon

Inès Jaurena transfers to Lyon from D1 Arkema side, Girondins Bordeaux. She signed a contract until the end of the season.

The 31-year-old has played in the French top flight her whole career. After her senior debut with Saint-Maur, she moved to Issy FF and later Paris FC, where she spent six seasons. In 2019, the French midfielder joined Bordeaux, for whom she made over 50 appearances. Now she will join Sara Däbritz, who signed for the Women’s Champions League winners a few weeks ago.

“Lyon is an institution and a big team. It’s great to be here,” said Jaurena.
