Lydia Williams signs for Paris Saint-Germain

Lydia Williams signs for Paris Saint-Germain, joining the French vice-champions from Arsenal. She signed a one-year contract.

The 34-year-old has a diverse CV, filled with experiences from various leagues all around the world. The Australian goalkeeper had often split her time between the United States and Australia. Since 2020, she played in the Women’s Super League with the Gunners, making a total of 18 appearances. In June, she made her 100th appearances for the Australian national team.

“Excited to be joining this amazing club and team,” wrote Williams on Twitter.
