Melchie Dumornay transfers to Lyon

Melchie Dumornay transfers to Lyon from a fellow D1 Arkema side, Stade Reims. She signed a contract until June 2026.

The 19-year-old signed with Reims in 2021 after leaving Haiti. The talented midfielder has since played 28 matches and scored 15 goals in the D1 Arkema league. Despite her age, Dumornay is already regular in the national team, having 10 caps on her tally.

“It has always been my dream to wear the shirt of Olympique Lyonnais. I know that this club can allow me to progress and win trophies. I can’t wait to play here and to play alongside Wendie Renard. She is a model for many young players and I hope to become one day like her,” said Dumornay.
