Melissa Herrera joins Bordeaux

Melissa Herrera joins Bordeaux from another D1 Arkema side, Stade Reims.

The 24-year-old has scored eight goals in 16 league games for Stade Reims this season. She has been brought to Bordeaux as a replacement for Khadija Shaw who is leaving after a very successful season. The Costa Rican international will sign the contract after completed medical.

“God’s plans are better than ours. I am thankful for this great opportunity, and I am beyond excited to get started,” Herrera wrote on Twitter.
