Patrice Lair is the new coach of Bordeaux, the club announced today. He signed a contract for two years, until June 2023.
The 60-year-old coach already has vast of experience from D1 Arkema League. Between 2005 and 2007 he was in charge at Montpellier HSC and won two French cups. In 2010, he took charge in Lyon and led the team to 4 French Championship titles, 3 French cups and won the UEFA Women’s Champions League in 2011 and 2012. After a short pause, he was appointed Paris SG manager, but couldn’t repeat previous triumphs.
“I am happy to arrive to Bordeaux. It’s an ambitious club, a club that had a very good season and I hope to continue with the good results,” said Lair.
