Stéphanie Labbé joins Paris SG from FC Rosengård. She signed a contract until the end of the next season, with an option for an additional year.
The 35-year-old Canadian goalkeeper started her senior career in Sweden with Pitea IF and moved to KIF Örebro DFF, where she stayed until 2014. After that, she returned to North America and took a break from football. A Canadian international with 67 caps resumed career in 2018. After that, she had a few spells on both sides of the Atlantic, most recently for FC Rosengard.
“It’s really great, I’m very happy to be here. I’m very excited to be able to join the group and start working with my new teammates,” said Labbe.
PSG already signed another goalkeeper, Barbora Votíková, just a few days ago.
