Lena Oberdorf adds another year to Wolfsburg stay. She will stay with the Wolves at least until June 2025.
The 20-year-old had a valid contract until June 2024 but after becoming one of the key players, she was offered a new deal with one year addition. The talented German midfielder, who joined the club in 2020, played over 60 matches across all competitions for the Frauen Bundesliga winners, who already renewed with Pia-Sophie Wolter, Ewa Pajor, Lena Lattwein, Tabea Waßmuth and Felicitas Rauch
My aim is to be an integral part of VfL Wolfsburg’s future in the long term. As such, I didn’t have to think long about signing for an extra year. Even if we did win two trophies last season, we’re nowhere near having achieved our full potential. I really enjoy working with this squad and coaching staff, and I’m looking forward to everything that lies ahead over the coming years,” said Oberdorf.
