Yolanda Aguirre and Silvia Meseguer move to Sevilla. Both players signed a contract until the end of the season.
The 23-year-old Aguirre, who arrives from Napoli, previously played for Santa Teresa CD before the team got relegated to Reto Iberdrola. In order to keep playing on the highest level, the Spanish goalkeeper decided to move to Italy, where she stood 17 times between the post in the last season. The Andalusian club has been quite active on the market, already signing Amanda Sampedro, Eva Llamas, Arola Aparicio, and Cristina Martin-Prieto.
“I’m very happy and very excited about this project and I’m really looking forward to it. For me it’s a great opportunity to return to Spain, to the Spanish league, I want to start training and see the project we have prepared,” said Aguirre.

The 33-year-old Meseguer left Atletico Madrid and will join her former teammate Amanda Samperdro. In total, the experienced Spanish midfielder played over 130 matches for Rojablancas, with whom she spent last 9 years and also won three Liga Iberdrola titles.
“”I’m excited about this project. Three or four months ago I wasn’t sure if I was going to continue playing, but Sevilla FC offered me a project that was worthwhile and I’m really looking forward to competing again. I can bring experience, but what I want is to help the team in any way I can and whatever they ask me to do I’ll be happy to do,” said Meseguer.
