Agata Tarczynska renews with Werder Bremen

Agata Tarczynska renews with Werder Bremen and will stay with the club also in the last season.
The 34-year-old spent her career split between Poland and Germany, where she played for Saarbrücken, Duisburg, and Wolfsburg. The Polish forward joined Werder in 2020 and has since made 20 appearances for the club. Tarczynska initially announced retirement after the last season but changed her mind after.
“Only a few days after the end of the season, the feeling arose in me that I would miss soccer and Werder if I quit. The subsequent talks with Birte Brüggemann and coach Thomas Horsch were very positive. I am very happy that I can continue my way at SV Werder,” added Tarczynska.
