Alena Bienz joins FC Köln

Alena Bienz joins FC Köln from FC Lucerne on a three-year deal that will keep in her in the club at least until June 2025.

The 19-year-old debuted for Luzerne senior team three years ago. In the current season, one of the biggest Swiss talents played twelve games and scored seven goal in the Swiss Super League. The talented midfielder joins Jasmin Pal, Celina Degen, Sarah Puntigam and  Andrea Gavric, who already joined Köln recently.

“I am really looking forward to FC and the new challenge in the Frauen Bundesliga. I was warmly welcomed by Nicole Bender and coach Sascha Glass and felt very comfortable from the first second. FC is a great club with its values and I am proud to be part of this team from the summer. I am looking forward to the new season and the chance to develop further in Cologne,” said Bienz.
