Amber Barrett signs for Turbine Potsdam

Amber Barrett signs for Turbine Potsdam from a fellow Bundesliga side, FC Köln.

The 26-year-old started her senior career with Peamount United, but moved to Germany and signed with Köln in 2019. The Irish forward, with 30 caps for the national team, played 18 matches in the last season of Frauen Bundesliga and scored four goals.

“I am very happy to be here in Potsdam. Turbine is a great club, with a great past. It is an honor for me to be able to play for this club. I’m really looking forward to the start of the season and working with the team and the coaching staff,” added Barrett. Turbine already signed Noa Selimhodzic, Laura Radke, Martyna Wiankowska, Jil Frehse, Noemi Gentile, Mai Kyokava and Maya Hahn for the new season.
