Anja Pfluger moves to SGS Essen from FC Köln. She signed a two-year contract that will keep her in the club until June 2024.

The 28-year-old spent a big part of her career in München with FC Bayern, where she played over 160 matches for the second team in 2. Frauen Bundesliga. Looking to play in the highest German flight, she joined the project in Köln in 2020 and achieved promotion to Frauen Bundesliga in the last season.

“I am very happy to be a part of the SGS community. Above all, I am happy that we will have a good mix of more experienced players and hungry talents. Personally, I would like to give the team more stability with the other experienced players, so that we can continue to develop and convince with our play,” said Pfluger.
