Anna Aehling signs for Eintracht Frankfurt

Anna Aehling signs for Eintracht Frankfurt after spending the last year in the USA studying. She signed a contract until June 2023.

The talented 20-year-old played 49 matches for FSV Gütersloh in the second women’s Bundesliga before moving to the United States in 2021. The German international in youth categories spent the year playing for Indiana University in the highest level of American college football. She is the second addition to Eintracht’s team during this winter transfer window, following her fellow countrywoman Sara Doorsoun.

“In the USA I was able to get to know a different game concept and broaden my horizons, I have developed tactically and personally. But after a year, I wanted to go back to Germany to take my first steps in the first division. I had a very good feeling from the start and can identify extremely well with the concept of Eintracht,” said Aehling for the club’s website.
