Anneke Borbe moves to Wolfsburg from Werder Bremen at the end of the season. She penned a deal until June 2025.
The 22-year-old extended her contract with Werder last May. The German goalkeeper, who played over 60 matches for Bremen, will join the German champions, challenging Merle Frohms for the number one choice between the post. The Wolves already announced summer arrival of Chantal Hagel.
“VfL Wolfsburg is one of the best addresses in women’s football, both nationally and internationally. To have the chance to work in such a professional environment doesn’t come along too often,” said Borbe.
