Barbara Dunst renews with Eintracht Frankfurt and will stay with the club at least until June 2024.
The 24-year-old started her career in Austria with LUV Graz and Sankt Pölten, where she won two Austrian Championships. In 2017, the Austrian midfielder moved across the border to Germany and signed for Bayer Leverkusen. After a short spell in Duisburg, Dunst moved to Frankfurt in 2019. A regular in Eintracht’s line-up has played over 100 Bundesliga matches so far, more than 50 for Frankfurt.
“I have been able to develop enormously here, both athletically and personally, and I feel very comfortable. Frankfurt and Eintracht have become a piece of home for me. I’m hungry to continue the development of the past few months with Eintracht and precisely this team and to reach the Champions League in the future,” said Dunst.
Her Austrian collegaues, Laura Feiersinger and Verena Hanshaw, have also extended contracts recently.
