Bayer Leverkusen extend with Sylwia Matysik

Bayer Leverkusen extend with Sylwia Matysik who will play in the club also in the next season.

The 25-year-old started her career in her native Poland, where she played for Medyk Konin and Gornik Leczna. In 2020, the international defender moved to Germany and joined Bayer, for which she made 43 appearances across all competitions. Matysik is also a regular in the Polish national team with 22 caps.

“I am proud to have extended my contract with Bayer 04. In my three seasons in black and red, the team has taken a great development. I am convinced that we will be even more successful in the coming years,” said Matysik.
