Bayern renew with Georgia Stanway

Bayern renew with Georgia Stanway who will stay with the club for at least three more years, until June 2026.

The 24-year-old arrived to Munich last year after seven years and over 100 appearances for Manchester City in the Women’s Super League. The English midfielder settled in Munich well, scoring 10 goals in 37 matches for the Bavarians. Stanway, European Champion with the England national team last year, was one of the key players in Bayern’s Frauen Bundesliga title run in the last season.

“For me, it feels like home here, which is very important for me. This is the best place for me and this is where I see my future,” said Stanway. Bayern also recently extended with Glódís Perla Viggósdóttir.
