Beke Sterner signs a new deal with Essen and will stay with the club for three more years, until June 2025.
The 19-year-old has been part of SGS Essen her whole career. She debuted in Frauen Bundesliga in the last season and has since made 31 appearances in total. The talented midfielder is also a regular in the German U-19 international team.
“I think it’s great that SGS supports young players so much and gives them the opportunity to get a taste of the Bundesliga at such a young age. It allows them to develop early on. It’s not like that at every club and it makes SGS very special for me personally,” said Sterner.
