“Munich has become my second home”

– Carina Wenninger

“I am very happy about my contract extension until 2024. We have set ourselves high goals for the coming years. We want to become German champions, win the DFB Cup and play for the Champions League title. That is the aspiration of an FC Bayern. We have a great team, a great squad and the best conditions. Now we want to turn that into success,” the longest-serving FCB player said. “FC Bayern mean a lot to me and Munich has become my second home. For me, FC Bayern stands first and foremost for success, passion, tradition and down-to-earthness. I share and live these values and that’s why I’m happy to continue on my path at FC Bayern,” said the 30-year-old central defender.
