Chantal Hagel joins Wolfsburg in the summer after her contract expiration with Hoffenheim. She penned a three-year deal with the Wolves.
The 24-year-old progressed from Hoffenheim’s B team to the first team and debuted in Frauen Bundesliga in 2019. Since then, the German midfielder played 68 matches in the highest tier of the German football. Last year, Hagel also debuted for the German national team in 2022 Arnold Clark Cup.
“I am very much looking forward to playing for VfL Wolfsburg from the summer onwards,. After my seven years at Hoffenheim, during which I was able to develop both athletically and as a person, I see the move to the upcoming season as the next step in my career,” said Hagel.
