Chiara Loos moves to Freiburg

Chiara Loos moves to Freiburg from SC Sand for the next season. The club did not disclose the duration of the contract.

The 25-year-old played for TSV Schott Mainz and 1. FC Saarbrücken before signing for SC Sand in 2020. Since her arrival, the German midfielder played 37 matches for the club, that got relegated from Frauen Bundesliga in the last season. She also scored six goals. Loos is the first summer arrival for Freiburg, who will finish on the 6th place in Bundesliga.

“Freiburg stands for attractive football, which suits me well. With the professional conditions at the Dreisamstadion, Freiburg can play a big role in the future. I want to play my part and contribute goals and assists. In the Freiburg squad, I will be one of the older players and therefore also want to contribute my experience,” said Loos.
