Christin Meyer extends with Werder Bremen

Christin Meyer extends with Werder Bremen and will stay in the green-white jersey at least until the end of the next season.

The 21-year-old joined Werder Bremen last summer from FC Carl Zeiss Jena. In the recently finished season of Frauen Bundesliga, the German forward played 20 matches across all competitions. Nina Lührssen, Margarita Gidion and Anneke Borbe have also renewed their contracts recently.

“It’s a total honour for me to continue being part of the Werder family and to work together with the team towards our goals. I feel our great spirit in every training session and every game. I feel very comfortable here and am happy to stay at Werder,” said Meyer.
