Dominique Janssen extends with Wolfsburg and will stay with the club for at least two more years.
The 27-year-old has been one of the crucial figures in Wolfsburg’s success in the last few years. Having joined the Wolves from Arsenal in 2019, Janssen won the DFB Cup and Frauen Bundesliga in 2020. In total, she has over 100 appearances in Frauen Bundesliga, including her 3-season stay at SGS Essen at the beginning of her career. The Dutch midfielder also became European champion with the Netherlands in 2017.
“Wolfsburg has become a second home to me in recent years. I really feel very comfortable here. But what is even more important is that I believe in the development we have initiated at this club and with this team,” said Janssen for the club’s website.
