Duisburg sack coaching duo, father and son, Walter Schneck and Nico Schneck.

Nico Schneck joined MSV in the 2020/21 season as co-coach under Thomas Gerstner and took over as team manager last season following the departure of Henrik Lehm. His father Walter was appointed as a head coach. The duo helped Duisburg got promoted to Frauen Bundesliga in the last season, but are in danger of returning to the 2. Bundesliga on the penultimate place in the current season.

Assistant coach Robert Augustin will take charge on an interim basis.
