Eintracht Frankfurt renew with Cara Bösl, who will stay with the club for two more years, until June 2024.
The 25-year-old joined Frankfurt already back in 2012, when the club was still known as 1. FFC Frankfurt. After that, the German goalkeeper played for the second Frankfurt team in 2. Bundesliga. For the last seven years, Bösl was part of Eintracht Bundesliga team, most of the time as a substitute goalkeeper. In total, she made 11 appearances in the top flight of German football.
“I feel very comfortable here in Frankfurt and am incredibly proud to continue wearing the eagle. Especially when you come from the region like I do and have had a connection to the club from an early age, it’s something very special,” said Bösl.
Eintracht recently extended contracts with a lot of players, including Leticia Santos, Lara Prašnikar, Shekiera Martinez, Sophia Kleinherne, Barbara Dunst and, Verena Hanshaw.
