Elisa Senß joins Bayer Leverkusen from SGS Essen for the upcoming season. She signed a three-year deal until 2025.
The 24-year-old played for SV Meppen in 2. Bundesliga before moving to SGS Essen three years ago. During her time in Westphalia, the German midfielder played 70 matches across all competitions. She extended her contract last year but is now leaving Essen one year before its completion
“I’m really looking forward to the team and to all the tasks that await me in Leverkusen. The move to Bayer 04 is the next big step for me in terms of football. I want to develop further, take on responsibility in the team and make it as uncomfortable as possible for our opponents with my lively style of play in midfield,” said Senß.
