Emelyne Laurent joins FC Bayern München

Emelyne Laurent joins FC Bayern München from Olympique Lyon. She signed a three-year deal, until June 2025.

The 23-year-old started her senior career in Montpellier, whom she left for Bordeaux. In 2017, the French winger signed for Lyon. To continue her development, she spent a few seasons on loans (EA Guingamp, Bordeaux, Atlético Madrid). Having played only 19 matches in the current season, the French international opted for a move. Laurent is the second summer arrival for the Bavarians, after Georgia Stanway.

“I am very much looking forward to playing here from the summer. At FC Bayern, they work very hard and well with the players and train them. Here, the potential is brought out of the players. That’s one reason why I chose Bayern. Everything is also very professional and familiar at the same time,” said Laurent.
