Ereleta Memeti transfers to Hoffenheim

Ereleta Memeti transfers to Hoffenheim from SC Freiburg in the summer. She signed a contract until June 2025.
The 22-year-old debuted on senior level for VfL Sindelfingen before moving to Wolfsburg’s second team in 2017. After unsuccessfully waiting for Frauen Bundesliga debut, the German-born midfielder with Kosovo roots, decided to join Freiburg in 2020. She has made 38 appearances and scored eight goals since her arrival. Memeti played for German national teams in youth categories but opted to play for Kosovo on the senior level. That is third addition to Hoffenheim’s team after Melissa Kössler and Julia Hickelsberger.
“I thought about it a lot, but then quickly decided to switch to TSG Hoffenheim. The club has undergone breathtaking development in recent years, and as a player who is willing to learn, I see the best conditions here for me to develop further,” said Memeti.
