FC Bayern sign Momoko Tanikawa

FC Bayern sign Momoko Tanikawa, who has previously played in the JFA Academy, the Japan Football Association’s youth program.

The 18-year-old, who doesn’t have much experience with senior football, won’t stay in Munich. The talented midfielder will spend the rest of the year on loan in Sweden with FC Rosengard to continue her development and slowly get familiar with the European football. Tanikawa is also an international with the Japanese youth teams.

“I am thrilled and very grateful to be able to play for this big club in the future. I’ve known FC Bayern since I was a little girl and when the offer came from Munich, I was overjoyed,” said Tanikawa.
