Georgia Stanway moves to FC Bayern München

Georgia Stanway moves to FC Bayern München from Manchester City. She signed a three-year contract with the Bavarians.
The 23-year-old debuted on the senior level with Manchester City at the age of 16. The English midfielder played over 100 matches and scored 67 goals across all competitions. During her time, she won seven trophies, including the Women’s Super League title in 2016. The talented English international, with over 29 caps, decided to go abroad for the first time in her career.
“Honestly, I’m so excited! It just feels right. It feels great to be able to share the news and my excitement with the world now. I can’t wait to get going and play for such a prestigious club,” said Stanway.
