Hanna Németh transfers to Werder Bremen

Hanna Németh transfers to Werder Bremen from Ferencváros Budapest.

The 23-year-old was playing futsal before moving across the Atlantic and embarking on the college football adventure with Indiana Hoosiers. The Hungarian defender returned to Europe last year, when she signed for Ferencvaros. In the last season, she made 8 appearances in the Hungarian top flight. Werder also signed Sarah-Lisa Dübel, Michaela Brandenburg, Saskia Matheis, Lena Treindl and Hannah Etzold during current transfer window.

“The Bundesliga is one of the strongest leagues in the world. Therefore, I’m very happy to get the opportunity to add another, new chapter to my career at SV Werder,” said Nemeth.
