Hoffenheim sack Gabor Gallai

Hoffenheim sack Gabor Gallai who leaves teh club after five years. His successor will be announced soon.

The 43-year-old worked with Hoffenheim’s women’s team since 2017. Initially as a coach, he took the team over as a head-coach in 2020 after the departure of Jürgen Ehrmann. In the last season, he led the team to the 5th place finish in Frauen Bundesliga and also extended his contract last year. Hoffenheim are also fifth in the current season. Nadine Rolser will lead the team until a permanent solution is find.

“The management and club board of TSG Hoffenheim have critically assessed the current situation after a preliminary round that was not satisfactory from a sporting point of view and have decided to take this step,” said Ralf Zwanziger, Hoffenheim’s Head of women’s football.
