Hoffenheim sign Jana Feldkamp that will join the club in the summer from SGS Essen. She will sign a contract until 2023.
The 23-year-old, who debuted for the German national team just two weeks ago, has played more than 100 Bundesliga games for SGS Essen. The midfielder, who was awarded the gold Fritz Walter Medal for the best young player, has worn Essen’s shirt for more than 10 years.
“I want to develop further, both football-wise and personally, and I think I’ve found the ideal club and the right environment for me in TSG Hoffenheim. TSG is one of the best three teams in Germany and I can identify very well with their style of play. I hope that I can contribute to the team in the best possible way and help them achieve their goals. I want to build on TSG’s successful years, and I’m excited to see where the journey takes me. I would like to thank all my teammates and staff at SGS Essen for the great time,” said Feldkamp.
Hoffenheim can be one of the contenders for the title in the next season after already announced arrivals of Gia Corley and Tine De Caigny.
