Julia Hickelsberger signs for Hoffenheim from Austrian side, Sankt Pölten. She signed a contract until June 2024.
The 22-year-old firstly played for Neulengabach before joining the best Austrian team, Sankt Pölten. The Austrian midfielder also debuted in the national team in the same year and has made 15 appearances so far. Hickelsberger suffered a cruciate ligament injury in 2020 and has just recently returned to football pitches. She is Hoffenheim’s second summer arrival, joining Melissa Kössler.
“I am looking forward to the new challenge, the new team and the new coaching stuff – just a new football adventure in a different country and in a stronger league,” added Hickelsberger.
