Katharina Naschenweng transfers to FC Bayern

Katharina Naschenweng transfers to FC Bayern München from TSG Hoffenheim. She will join the club in the summer and penned a three-year contract with the club.

The 25-year-old arrived to Germany in 2019, when she joined Hoffenheim. Since then, she played 60 matches in Frauen Bundesliga. The Austrian defender, who also has over 30 caps for the national team, will join Sarah Zadrazil in FC Bayern München.

“We don’t need to talk about the fact that Bayern is a big club. I noticed from the start that the interest was there and that they wanted to work with me. That simply convinced me. I’m looking forward to the opportunity to play for FC Bayern,” said Naschenweng.
