Kathrin Hendrich pens a new deal with Wolfsburg. Her contract, that was initially expiring in 2022, will keep her in the club for two more years, until June 2024.
The 29-year-old joined Vfl Wolfsburg in 2020 from league rivals, FC Bayern München. The German defender, who also holds a Belgian passport, where she was born, played 221 matches in Frauen Bundesliga. Before Bayern, Hendrich wore Frankfurt and Bayer Leverkusen shirts. Since her arrival to Wolfsburg, the experienced German international made 26 appearances across all competitions.
“I am very pleased that we have already been able to agree on an extension of my contract at this point. I feel absolutely at home at VfL Wolfsburg and have been held in high esteem here from day one. Now I will do everything I can to be successful with our newly formed team and bring more titles to Wolfsburg!,” said Hendrich.
