Kathrin Hendrich renews with Wolfsburg and adds another year to her contract, which will now expiry in June 2025.
The 31-year-old started her senior career with Bayer Leverkusen, where she spent 5 years. In 2014, she moved to Frankfurt for four seasons before signing for FC Bayern München in 2018. Two years later, the experienced German defender joined Wolfsburg and has since played 100 matches for the Wolves. Hendrich is also a regular in the German national team, currently with 61 caps on her tally.
“There is currently no reason for me to decide otherwise. I have everything I need in Wolfsburg. We have a great team, loyal fans and both the team behind the team and the entire club give everything so that we can perform on the pitch. I am grateful every day to be part of this club,” added Hendrich. Wolfsburg also recently extended contracts with Rebecka Blomqvist and Lynn Wilms.
