Lara Prašnikar renews with Eintracht Frankfurt and will stay with the club for four-and-a-half more years, until June 2028.
The 25-year-old left her native Slovenia in 2020 to move to Turbine Potsdam. In 2020, she joined Eintracht Frankfurt and soon became one of the best players. In the last two seasons, Prašnikar topped the club’s goals and assists ranking. In total, the Slovenian striker scored 36 goals in 91 matches for Frankfurt. She is even more effective for the national team, for which she played 63 international games and scored 34 goals. After good performances, the club offered contract renewal, which was expiring in 2025.
“I really appreciate what the club has done for me in recent years and how I have developed here both personally and athletically. Since I’ve really settled in here in Frankfurt, I’ve been playing very consistently, that’s one of the most important things in football,” said Prašnikar.
